Short guided tours on Wednesdays 2016

Guided walks on various subjects. Starts at 13.00 on Wednesdays in July and August. Price 50 SEK per person. Children under 12 free.

About the activity

 

The guiding starts at 13:00 and last about 45 minutes.

Price: 50 SEK per person over 12 years.

 

29 June:        Birds on ”stora gungflyet

                       ” The Great Quagmire”

                      - Gathering at naturum.

                      - We study the birdlife on the quagmire. 

 

6. July:         Searching for water insects in the stream

                       Fläsebäcken

                      - Gathering at naturum

                      - We recommend rubber boots

 

13. July:       The Björnakulla rich fen

                      - Gathering on the parking lot at

                    ”Andersberg”

                      - We talk about the marsh and study

                      the orchids.

 

20.July:          Beauty of the moths

                      - Gathering 09:00 at naturum

                      - Learn about night moths and how to catch them

 

27 July:         Dragonflies

                      - Gathering at the foot bridge across the

                     railway at Kittlakull

                      - We recommend waterproof shoes

                     - learn more about dragonflies and how to

                     catch them.

 

 

3. August:     From sphagnum to peat

                       - Gathering by the foot bridge across

                       the railway at Kittlakull

                       - We will talk about peat and what it is.
