Traces of the Ice Age

During the Ice Age Scandinavia was covered by ice.

About the activity

The ice melted in the mountains approximately 9000 years ago but you can still see the traces it left behind in the park. The traces consist of large boulders that once lay embedded in the ice and of the gently u-shaped valley in the park which gained its shape from the ice.
